Samsung's Galaxy A8

Filing Images of A8

When it comes to the top leaders of Smartphone market, the new product rumored around are kept a secret until it actually is set to release. But in case of Samsung, we can expect a divergent. It seems Samsung's rumored lucrative device is not much of a secret. Every now and then, it seems we might encounter new and amazing facts of the device.

The new lucrative member of Samsung is one of the successor of the Galaxy family. Behold the Amazing new Galaxy A8. The amazing fact, it's exceptionally the most thinnest amongst the Samsung's Devices, engineered at only 5.94mm.

That makes it almost half a millimeter thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy A7, which is currently Samsung’s thinnest. How does it stack up to the competition, say Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus? The Galaxy A8 is almost 20% slimmer despite having a slightly larger 5.7-inch display.

The engineering of the A8 is very impressive. They even managed to shave off the camera lump on the rear. The 16 MP shooter sits conveniently with the back cover which is not a small achivement. Even with the 8MP shooter, Apple didn’t manage to do it on the iPhone 6/6 Plus, and LG’s engineers had a heck of a time doing it on the G4.

According to a Korean Brochure

A8 Hands-On

According to a Korean brochure listing for the Galaxy A8, the new phone will pack some pretty bad boys. That includes an octa-core processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9, and 5 MP front , 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage all accounted to151 grams. Also it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.

As for the battery, Samsung managed to squeeze a 3050mAh unit inside the congested workspace for A8. But it seems that the metal series of Galaxy is thought of intial release heading to China. If you have a look at TENNA(China's equivalent for certification) or FCC (two certification sites), which confirmed Samsung's metal model filings, the Galaxy A8 only supports LTE band 41, which indicates that this particular model is only heading to China. This means the slimmest phone by Samsung will be in your hands after some time of it's release or if you are that desperate may you pack your bags and go China.
